Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 13D - the Open Meeting Law

Chapter 13D places requirements on public bodies when conducting meetings.  Minnesota Statutes, section 13D.01, requires meetings of public bodies to be open to the public and provides that when closing a meeting, a public body must "state on the record the specific grounds permitting the meeting to be closed and describe the subject to be discussed."

Chapter 13D also requires that public bodies provide notice of meetings.
